Free and open to the public. One of the largest Gaudiya Vaisnava (Hare Krishna) communities outside of India is in Alachua County. Approximately 400 Krishna families live, work, and attend public and private schools, making them an important demographic in this area.
The Sunday Feast is the weekly worship service, featuring chanting, dancing, a Bhagavad-gita lecture in English, and the usual delicious Hare Krishna vegetarian feast. Ideal for class projects or field trips. Bring your camera!
The feast is free and there's plenty of parking. Visit the temple's website http://alachua.templeportal.net/ for directions and more info. Or contact Tulasi-priya at
